Highland Lumber & Mill helps distributors and lumberyards fill out their assortment without adding vendors. We stock hardwood, plywood and panels, industrial softwood and molding, and we remanufacture, laminate and prime to order, so you can offer your customers more than what's on your own racks.

What distributors and lumberyards buy from us

Hardwood lumber: domestic and exotic species from 4/4 to 16/4 in various grades
Plywood and panels: domestic hardwood plywood, import panels such as Baltic birch and meranti/luan, sanded and overlay plywood, melamine and MDF
Industrial softwood: 1x3 to 4x12 and banding board
Molding: casing, baseboard, chair rail, face frame, S4S raw and primed, MLD blanks
Window shutter components: Highland-produced or imported primed, with very little prep and less waste on each piece
Laminated panels: HPL and rolled paper and vinyl

As direct plywood importers and hardwood lumber board-in-market producers, we work on material programs as well as single orders. Our Coeur d'Alene, North Idaho Lumber Trading Division supports buyers with recurring volume. We'll help you plan around lead-time predictability, cost stability and substitution rules for when a face or species is tight.

When a customer wants something you don't stock as-is, we can remanufacture, laminate or prime it first:

Cut-to-size, notching and groove stock on our softwood cut line
Planing, ripping, resawing and custom molding profiles on our hardwood mill
Priming with a lacquer-based primer and a 220/320 sand
