Accessibility

Accessibility

Highland Lumber & Mill wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we've done

the measures listed below

  • Built pages with clear headings, landmarks and a skip link
  • Made every menu, link and form work with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
  • Checked text and button colors for contrast
  • Gave every form field a visible label and clear error messages
  • Published our line card as an accessible web page, not only as an image or PDF
  • Added text descriptions to informative images

Known limitations

Some of our PDF forms aren't fully accessible yet. The California resale certificate is a scanned image, and our credit application and other customer forms can't be filled in on screen. We're working on accessible versions. In the meantime, we'll provide the information in another format on request.
