Highland Lumber & Mill supplies hardwood lumber wholesale to distributors, lumber dealers and OEM manufacturers. We carry domestic and exotic species from 4/4 up to 16/4 in various grades. Because we run our own mill, we can surface it to any thickness, rip it to any width and shape it to any pattern before it reaches your shop.

Thicknesses from 4/4 to 16/4, in various grades
We carry hardwood lumber from 4/4 up to 16/4. That range runs from standard 4/4 boards up to thick stock for parts like doors, posts and millwork blanks. Grades vary by species, so put your grade requirement on the quote request and sales will confirm what's available.
Millwork-ready lumber from our hardwood mill
If your shop is short on machine hours, we can bring the lumber closer to the part before you pick it up. Our hardwood mill handles:
- Planer: S2S & S4S
- Straight-line ripsaw, including rip-to-advantage
- Sticker/molder: custom run any profile
- Resaw
- Full-round dowels
- Sanding of finished components
Need a profile? Our sticker/molder runs the profile you send, which is how we run custom and pre-primed molding. Need it primed? Our custom priming uses a lacquer-based primer finished with a 220/320 sand.
Pair hardwood lumber with plywood
Cabinet, furniture and millwork OEMs often buy solids and sheets together. Highland supplies both:

Can you match lumber and plywood species?
Often, yes. Several species appear in both our lumber and plywood lines, such as walnut, alder, red oak and rift white oak. Put both on one quote request and sales will confirm what lines up.
